Winkelmann stated that the next-generation Urus will be fully electric, making the upcoming Urus Hybrid the final Lamborghini SUV to feature the twin-turbo V8 engine.
The Urus plug-in hybrid (PHEV) is scheduled to launch next year and is anticipated to be equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine coupled with an electric motor generating a total output of approximately 820 horsepower. This powertrain is similar to the one found in the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, albeit with a lower power rating.
Furthermore, Lamborghini unveiled plans for the successor to the Huracan, set to be powered by a twin-turbo V8 hybrid. The new Huracan model is expected to make its debut in 2024.
