McLaren is on a mission to dominate the hypercar market, consistently unveiling stunning and exhilarating vehicles that command a high price tag.
The McLaren Elva Speedstar continues this legacy and aims to raise the bar even higher. Its name pays homage to a series McLaren introduced in the 1960s.
Designed primarily for road use, the Elva can also handle the demands of track racing. It boasts the same level of performance and sophistication that defines all top-tier McLarens.
McLaren boasts that the Elva is their lightest road car ever produced. It flaunts a custom carbon fiber chassis, along with carbon brakes, seats, and body panels.
Under the hood lies a familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine, originating from the McLaren 720S but refined to churn out an impressive 804 horsepower, surpassing the Senna track car by 12 horses.
Only 399 units of the Elva will be manufactured, with an initial price tag of $1.69 million each. Buyers can further customize their cars with McLaren’s wide array of MSO options, potentially increasing the final price based on the selected features.
The announcement of the Elva took many by surprise but adds an exciting note to the end of the year.
