Luxury car company McLaren Automotive has announced today a renewal of its partnership with Gulf Oil International for 2023. Gulf Oil will remain the Official Lubricant and Fuel Partner for McLaren. Gulf Formula Elite will continue to be the first fill lubricant for all McLaren supercars and hypercars coming out of the McLaren Production Centre. This partnership has been in place since 2021 when Gulf Formula Elite was developed by both teams to offer top-notch protection for McLaren’s high-performance engines.
Gulf Formula Elite is an advanced synthetic engine oil designed to provide excellent protection even in extreme conditions, ensuring consistent high performance for McLaren cars. It utilizes Thermoshield Technology to create a strong coating on critical engine parts, enhancing wear resistance. This oil also helps regulate temperature, prevent oil breakdown, and control deposits.
George Biggs, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at McLaren Automotive, expressed excitement about extending the partnership with Gulf, emphasizing the shared focus on performance and innovation. Gulf Formula Elite will continue to be the exclusive lubricant for all McLaren supercars and hypercars leaving the Production Centre.
