McLaren Artura Spider Teased Mysteriously Ahead Of Its Official Debut

McLaren has released a mysterious teaser hinting at the upcoming debut of the Artura Spider. The teaser, shared on social media, reveals a glimpse of the rear fascia resembling the Artura, showcasing sleek LED taillights likely borrowed from the coupe. A previous teaser also offered a brief look at what seems to be the rear buttress area of the Artura Spider.

The Artura Spider is anticipated to feature the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine as the coupe, producing 577 hp and 431 lb-ft of torque. It will be complemented by an electric motor contributing an additional 97 hp, resulting in a total power output of 671 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle will be equipped with a 7.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack offering a maximum electric range of 19 miles and a new 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The official unveiling of the McLaren Artura Spider is scheduled for February 27, 2024.
