This is a car that gives you 181 hp and 151 pounds per feet of torque from a 2.0-liter I-4 engine. The fun and thrill are guaranteed by the standard six-speed manual that can be turned into the automatic six-speed transmission.
In the new version, a rearview camera is standard and you also get telescoping steering wheel in all models. It also gets a little more weight than its predecessors weighing about 7 pounds more.
We say the Miata is a true representation of simplicity. Even the touchscreen infotainment system comes with a control knob and hard buttons as if attempting hard to keep things olden.
All MX-5 Miata Bluetooth connectivity as standard and with this you can stream from the phone and the audio system. Even a CD player is still available here. This revision further hands the Miata Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and HD radio compatibility for the first time.
It is not a plainly practical car but one that is conveniently updated while avoiding the commotion of too much modern day civilization. This notwithstanding, the Miata still remains the nice small car with a smooth unforgettable name.
