During the run, under optimal conditions at the dragstrip, the Lucid Air Sapphire reached an impressive speed of 154 mph as it crossed the finish line.
In addition to its exceptional quarter-mile performance, the Lucid Air EV also demonstrated its agility by achieving an astounding 0-60 mph time. The sedan’s instant torque, coupled with exceptional grip on the prepped racing surface, enabled it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in an astonishing 1.77 seconds.
Behind the wheel during this impressive feat was Brooks, who experienced acceleration forces of 1.5 G, firmly pressing him back into his seat.
