Angelelli Automobili, a company based in Italy, has introduced a new hypercar named the Superperformante D-One. This project is a collaboration involving Davide Angelelli and two accomplished drivers from the 24 Hours of Le Mans and GT Series.
The Superperformante D-One is claimed to be a road-legal hypercar available in three versions – Standard, D-One S, and D-One R.
This hypercar is constructed on a lightweight chassis with a porous interior. The design of the “Organic Frame Design” is crafted using an algorithm and then 3D printed. Externally, the car features active aerodynamics, including an Aerobrake function.
Powering the D-One hypercar is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine along with two electric motors, delivering a combined output of 1000 hp, with a top speed of 304 mph.
The D-One S model retains the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and dual electric motors but produces 1200 hp. On the other hand, the D-One R variant is equipped with a 4.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine paired with two electric motors, generating a total of 1350 hp.
