Lamborghini has revealed their second unique model, the Revuelto Opera Unica, after the first was showcased during Art Basel Miami Beach 2023. This special vehicle, crafted by the Ad Personam customization team and Lamborghini Centro Stile, pays tribute to the stunning blues and coastal views of Sardinia, Italy. The car was unveiled at a private dinner at the upscale Cala di Volpe resort, perfectly complementing the blue-themed event held in one of Italy’s most prestigious vacation spots.

“The unique Lamborghini Opera Unica vehicle symbolizes the creativity, innovation, and artistic nature embedded in our super sports cars, which is central to our identity,” stated Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO. “Our clients can choose various colors, details, materials, and interior finishes with Ad Personam to create a Lamborghini that’s uniquely theirs: this Opera Unica elevates our creative standards further, showcasing painting techniques and interior styles exclusive to one-off pieces, resulting in an unparalleled artwork that captures the unique landscapes and feelings of Italy’s most stunning island.”

Beyond the usual assembly time of a Lamborghini Revuelto, the unique exterior paint job required an extra 475 hours of expert work. The design of the Opera Unica involved carefully covering parts of the car to create a base for the intricate paint: shades of two-tone and three-tone fading were enhanced with hand brushing, mimicking the appearance of waves crashing against cliffs. Special techniques were used to customize elements like the Start/Stop button cover and the identity plate. Additionally, producing the special embroidery for the interior took 85 hours just to create the new tooling needed for the water-like stitching effect that characterizes this Opera Unica.

The one-of-a-kind Revuelto features a distinctive paint job thanks to Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program, showcasing the car’s striking shapes and lines that resemble contemporary architecture. It combines three distinct shades of blue, applied with expert techniques involving brushes and spatulas, exclusively for this Opera Unica model. The design draws inspiration from the exquisite waters of Sardinia—capturing elements like water bubbles, crashing waves, and the deep shades of ocean caverns. The varying tones of blue are artistically distributed across the car’s exterior, with smooth transitions that emphasize its captivating angles and contours.

The primary color on the front panels and roof of the car is a soft shade called Blu Tawaret. This contrasts with the vivid Blu Cepheus, which creates a gradient effect on the back panels. The third shade, Blu Okeanos, deepens the fading effect on the hood and around the front splitter. This is complemented by a striking black Nera Bocca paint job, as well as a glossy carbon splitter, sills, and Shiny Black rims featuring Diamond Polished Altanero with black carbon ceramic brakes. The unique painting technique seamlessly blends these three blue tones across the rear, creating waves that reflect the shimmering turquoise colors often seen in sunlight’s reflection over sandy shores and stones.

The interior complements beautifully with Blu Delphinus as the primary upholstery color, enhanced by a lighter shade, Blu Amon, seen on the backs of the seats, door panels, and center console trim. This design is accented with contrasting white Bianco Leda stitching and piping. The seats, door panels, console tunnel, and roofline showcase a unique twist on the Revuelto embroidery technique. A specially designed tool creates three-tone stitching in Blu Amon, Blu Chepeus, and Bianco Leda, evoking the shimmering colors of the Sardinian waters. This aesthetic is also reflected in the Blu Mira carbon Opera Unica badge on the cabin’s rear wall and on the center console’s Start/Stop button cover.

The Revuelto is a trailblazer in the realm of super sports cars, being the inaugural hybrid V12 plug-in High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV). This model sets a new benchmark for performance, driving enjoyment, and agility with its innovative architecture and striking design. It boasts superior aerodynamic efficiency along with an advanced carbon frame concept. The car generates a remarkable total output of 1015 CV, which comes from a brand-new combustion engine paired with three electric motors, and for the first time, it features a double-clutch transmission on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini.

This super sports car boasts remarkable performance stats, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reaching speeds over 350 km/h. Its outstanding agility is enhanced by electric torque vectoring and a four-wheel-drive system, which can operate in a fully electric mode, ensuring that the Revuelto showcases its impressive capabilities whether on the racetrack or during everyday driving.
