This is only one of the three surviving famous cars from the movie star and Aston Martin’s official auctioneer Auctioneer RM Sotheby’s has described the iconic piece as “the world’s most famous car.”
The price tag? Somewhere between $4 million and $6 million. This tells you that this is business meant for only the most serious collectors and fans of James Bond and his extraordinary stuff.

Barney Ruprecht from RM Sotheby further noted that “No other car in history has played a more important leading role on film and in pop culture.”

Each of the 13 modifications done for the purposes of the movie is fully functional. They include a .30 caliber machine gun fixed in each fender as well as tire-slashers, revolving license plates, smoke screen dispensers among others.

In the fifty years it has existed, the car has only had three private owners, further underlining just how valuable owning it might sound in the end. Apparently, the success of the movie “Goldfinger” in which the vehicle feature accounted for a phenomenal rise in sales that to an all-time high.
