I wish I were the wealthy Ferrari collector who commissioned the extraordinary Ferrari P80/C. If he did it for personal satisfaction, then he surely has great taste!
The daunting challenge entrusted to Flavio Manzoni of Ferrari Styling Centre was to transform a Sports Prototype into one of the most iconic cars globally. It took four painstaking years and the collaboration of various engineering teams to accomplish this feat.
This exceptional vehicle boasts a 660bhp 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. The design is truly remarkable, featuring sleek slits in place of traditional headlights and a striking wedge shape from the rear view, accentuated by wide air openings.
Drawing inspiration from the legendary 330 P3/P, the Ferrari P80/C incorporates many track racing elements. It is based on the Ferrari 488 GT3, adding to its significance in Ferrari’s history.
The fact that Ferrari created such a unique car not intended for public roads displays their drive to push boundaries. The client must have been ecstatically pleased with the final product.
