The competition among Electric Vehicles (EVs) has reached new heights. Two key factors for EVs are the range they can cover on a single charge, pricing, and technological features.
Customers now prioritize practicality and affordability. Even without all the latest tech features, customers are still happy to choose EVs.
Hyundai Kona seems to understand these important aspects well. It is equipped with a 201-hp electric motor that powers the front wheels with a 64.0-kWh battery pack. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.4 seconds, which is faster than the regular Kona by 0.2 seconds.
One interesting feature of electric cars is the single pedal that allows for both acceleration and braking. The Kona boasts a range of 258 miles, which is 20 miles more than Chevrolet’s Bolt EV.
Standard safety features are provided, in addition to heated front seats. The car also includes keyless ignition, 17-inch wheels, two USB chargers, and a user-friendly 7.0-inch touchscreen display with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Hyundai has clearly grasped the preferences of modern car buyers. The Hyundai Kona EV is indeed a vehicle worth keeping an eye on as we progress through the decade.
