In the modern world, we’ve learned and confirmed that the more things change, the more they remain the same. In-car manufacturing, this is proven much better by the reality that more and more cars draw inspiration from designs and drivetrains of days gone by.

Nonetheless, it is this interesting experimental nature of car builders that tickles car lovers and car collectors alike. Here is a car that pushing more than forty years back and aims to paint a new picture.

Italian coachbuilding firm Manifattura Automobili Torino promised back in 2018 that it would be bringing around the New Stratos sports car. The company further hinted that this car would be based upon the Ferrari F430 and take styling cues from the Lancia rally car that was around in the 1970s.

The company had supplied a couple of these cars back in 2010. When you consider that it is also responsible for the hefty 5,000 bhp Devel Sixteen and Apollo’s wild Intensa Emozione, then you have a clear picture of a car builder who is ready to challenge the status quo.

We’ve heard that the company plans to make no more than 25 of the New Stratos and things have not changed so far. This is by no means your ordinary supercar.

It gives you a wheelbase measuring 7.87 inches. This car has a whole lot of similarities from the 2010 concept.
