# Hennessey Venom 1200 Mustang GT500 Specs Leaked Online Ahead Of SEMA 2022
Hennessey Performance has revealed all the specifications of their latest Venom 1200 Mustang GT500. This model is set to be one of the most powerful muscle cars ever produced by the tuner and will be showcased at SEMA 2022.
The Venom 1200 is a performance package tailored for the already potent factory-made Mustang. Using the GT500 as a foundation, the team at Hennessey has enhanced the 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine. Originally generating 750 hp and 625 lb-ft of torque, the upgraded version now boasts an impressive 1188 hp @ 7600 rpm and 902 lb-ft @ 5200 rpm, marking a 58% increase in performance!
Hennessey achieved this remarkable power boost by incorporating a larger 3.8-liter supercharger, along with enhancements such as a high-flow induction system, high-flow injectors, and an air/oil separation system. Furthermore, various components like fittings, lines, belts, and tensioners have been improved, and the dual-clutch transmission has been reprogrammed to handle the additional power.
The Venom 1200 Mustang GT 500 is an exclusive model, with only 66 units being produced. Each vehicle features distinctive badging and a unique serial-numbered plaque. Owners will also have the option to select the iconic 1966 24 Hours of Daytona Ford Mark II GT40 red, white, and black livery.
