# Ford’s Launch Event for F-150 Lightning on April 26
**Ford** is gearing up to commemorate the commencement of F-150 Lightning production with a bash on April 26. During the event, **Ford** and UAW leaders will be gathering with customers and staff to mark the beginning of F-150 Lightning production at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn, Michigan.
This occasion, termed as “Job 1,” will be broadcasted live from 1:30 pm EST on the 26th.
**Ford** has not disclosed any further specifics about the celebration for the electric F-150 Lightning, but its availability is expected soon with prices starting at $41,769, which includes the destination fee.
