Bugatti has revealed the initial teaser for the upcoming Chiron Roadster set to debut at the Quail on August 19, 2022.
The teaser provides a sneak peek at the hypercar’s headlamp cluster, resembling the Bugatti Divo’s vertically oriented design with horizontal LED elements.
This model will be the first convertible based on the Chiron platform, potentially featuring a wraparound windshield and a removable top. However, details about the final design are scarce.
Leaked information suggests that the car’s top speed will be restricted to 155 mph with the roof on, but without it, it could reach a blazing 261 mph, positioning it as one of the fastest open-top hypercars.
The Chiron Roadster is rumored to be one of Bugatti’s final models housing the powerful 8.0-liter W16 engine and the third vehicle to employ the robust ‘Thor’ powertrain delivering 1600 hp.
