# Ferrari F250 Prototype Encounters Technical Issue
Last week, the initial glimpses of Ferrari’s upcoming hypercar were revealed. Since then, the LaFerrari successor, codenamed F250, has been frequently sighted in and around Maranello, including today.
The prototype was undergoing testing today as well, but unfortunately, its session around the factory was cut short due to a technical glitch. The test vehicle was observed parked by the roadside with a Ferrari engineer keeping watch.

As there are no visible signs of damage, it appears that the prototype wasn’t involved in any accidents. It is presumed that the vehicle simply experienced a breakdown. Eventually, assistance arrived, and the F250 prototype was shielded and taken back to the factory.
Details about the LaFerrari successor remain scarce. However, the cautionary stickers hint at the likelihood of a hybrid powertrain being housed under the hood.
