Driving a high-performance car at speeds exceeding 200 mph can be both exciting and intense, especially when done by a skilled driver who can truly appreciate the thrill of speed.
AutoTopNL, a Netherlands-based automotive journalist, recently shared a video on YouTube showcasing a Ferrari 812 Superfast being pushed to its limits on the famous Autobahn in Germany. The Autobahn is renowned for its unrestricted speed limits, making it a popular destination for speed enthusiasts. The featured Ferrari 812 Superfast in the video is equipped with a complete Novitec exhaust system, enabling its 6.5-liter V12 engine to generate an impressive 840 horsepower and 554 lb-ft of torque.
During the test drive, AutoTopNL managed to achieve a top speed of 218 mph with the Ferrari 812 Superfast – a noteworthy accomplishment for a supercar that has already traveled over 100,000 miles. It is interesting to note that this recorded top speed surpasses Ferrari’s official claim of 211 mph for the model.
