DK Engineering presents an in-depth review of the iconic Porsche Carrera GT.

The Porsche Carrera GT was produced from 2004 to 2006, with only 1270 units manufactured. The car featured in the video is one of just 40 ‘paint to sample’ models and is the sole example with a striking Midnight Blue exterior.

In the video, James showcases the various switches and controls inside the Carrera GT, highlighting its simplistic design. Unlike modern supercars loaded with complex electronics, the Carrera GT offers a more analog driving experience with straightforward controls.

Removing the 2-piece roof is also a hassle-free process, and it can be conveniently stored in the front compartment. A helpful diagram guides users on properly securing the roof panels.

The heart of the Carrera GT is its 5.2-liter V10 engine housed in a carbon fiber cradle at the rear. This high-performance powerplant delivers 603 horsepower and 435 lb-ft of torque, channeled to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox.
