The McLaren Elva was first introduced in Dubai in 2019, marking a significant milestone as McLaren’s inaugural open-top road car. The vehicle pays homage to the early McLaren models created by the renowned British race car manufacturer, Frank Nichols’ Elva. It is part of McLaren’s exclusive Ultimate Series, standing as the fifth addition.

Constructed with a carbon fiber chassis, doors, and seats, the McLaren Elva boasts a featherweight of only 1,269kg, establishing it as McLaren’s lightest sports car. It houses an 804bhp twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, akin to the Senna model. The vehicle also showcases a four-outlet exhaust system crafted from Inconel and titanium.

Among its distinctive features is an Active Air Management System that ensures a draft-free cabin experience, eliminating the need for a conventional windshield. The interior is adorned with synthetic leather seats, exuding luxury. Originally intended for 399 units, production was scaled back to just 149, each priced at $1.69 million.

This specific McLaren Elva was originally sent to McLaren Walnut Creek in California. It showcases a custom McLaren Orange exterior with painted No. 4 roundels and vintage-style “McLaren Cars” and “Bruce McLaren” lettering.

The interior of the car boasts carbon-fiber bucket seats upholstered in navy blue Nubuck with orange accents and stitching. Kiwi silhouettes are embroidered on the headrests. The upper dash, upper doors, center console, and rear bulkhead match the exterior color, while the lower door surfaces, lower dash, sills, and floors are covered in exposed carbon fiber.

The McLaren Elva is equipped with advanced features such as a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, an Active Air Management System, ProActive Chassis Control II, deployable roll-over protection, electro-hydraulic steering, carbon-ceramic brakes, staggered-dimension super-lightweight forged wheels, and a quad-outlet exhaust system.

This McLaren Elva, priced at $1,820,268, is now available for purchase on Bring A Trailer. It has only 837 miles on the odometer and includes a pair of Bell racing helmets, extra gear, and a clean title.
