As the new year unfolds, car enthusiasts are brimming with anticipation. Genesis surprised everyone by unveiling the Genesis GV80, a robust SUV designed to take on the competition.
One striking feature of this vehicle is its bold and wider grille. Inside, you’ll find an intuitive space with a large multimedia screen mounted on the dashboard.
While specific technical details are not yet available, the GV80 is expected to be built on a new rear-wheel-drive platform. This platform might also be utilized in the upcoming G80 sedan.
Initially showcased with a hydrogen fuel-cell powertrain, it’s unlikely that the production model will retain this feature. The GV80 could be equipped with a 3.3-liter V6 engine or a daring 5.0-liter V8.
Apart from the released images, there is limited information about the GV80 at the moment. More details, such as production and delivery dates, are anticipated to be disclosed soon.
The SUV segment is gaining momentum in the automotive industry, showcasing its significance in marketing strategies. Car manufacturers are investing heavily in this category, indicating a promising future for SUVs.
