The 2023 BMW M2 was unveiled globally today, showcasing its impressive driving capabilities. However, like many contemporary BMW models, the new M2 has a design that may not appeal to everyone. While aesthetics are a matter of personal preference, some individuals may find the appearance unconventional. If you’re among those who are interested in a different look, take a look at these photos.
With the addition of M Performance parts, the new M2’s appearance is subtly improved. Featuring a collection of carbon fiber elements such as a splitter, aero blades on the front and rear arches, a diffuser with quad exhausts, and a prominent rear spoiler. The blacked-out square elements on the front and rear bumpers offer a more cohesive look compared to the standard M2 design. The M Performance package also includes unique wheels, carbon ORVMs, and a discreet roof spoiler.
Under the hood, the 2023 BMW M2 is equipped with the same 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine found in the M4, delivering 453 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant is paired with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission.
BMW claims that the M2 can achieve a 0-60 mph sprint in 3.9 seconds and has an electronically capped top speed of 155 mph. For those seeking more speed, the M Driver’s Package raises the limit to 177 mph.
