Dyson Ltd, a well-known British company famous for its household appliances, is venturing into the electric car market. Sir James Dyson, the company’s founder, is known for his ambitious ideas and is now working on a unique sports car design that he describes as “radically different.”
To achieve his vision, Dyson has assembled a team of automotive experts, led by Roland Krueger, the former president of Infiniti. Krueger, with experience at Nissan’s Luxury division, is tasked with delivering Dyson’s innovative car by 2021. Electric car manufacturers continue to seek the best battery solutions, and Dyson is investing heavily to develop cutting-edge technology for its hypercar.
James Dyson emphasized the importance of the battery in car manufacturing, stating, “Wherever we make the battery, we’ll make the car.” The company has established a production plant in Singapore and is constructing an R&D and testing facility in the UK. While Dyson’s car is expected to be high-end and not affordable to everyone, it will incorporate state-of-the-art technologies from its team of skilled engineers.
