With the rise of electric cars, Volvo is gearing up to introduce a series of vehicles that will position it competitively in the market. Through its Polestar division, Volvo has already brought us the Polestar 1 and 2, with more designs in the pipeline.
The upcoming Polestar 3, expected to make its debut in 2021, continues the trend of innovation. While detailed specifications are still under wraps, Polestar’s Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Goodman has hinted that unlike the hybrid Polestar 1, the Polestar 3 will be a fully electric vehicle.
Polestar has simplified its branding approach, aiming to remove unnecessary complexity. According to Polestar, the naming strategy is straightforward and eliminates confusion, ensuring consumers easily grasp the essence of the model without the need to decipher complex designations.
As the automotive industry embarks on the electrification journey, manufacturers must strike a delicate balance between creating family-friendly SUVs, sports cars, hypercars, and a variety of other vehicles in alignment with evolving market demands.
