The highly anticipated BMW M4 CSL is set to be showcased at the annual Villa d’Este concours. But that’s not all BMW has in store for fans of the M4. Reports suggest that the automaker will also unveil an ultra-limited edition Hommage model. Speculations indicate that it might be named the M4 GT/H.
The M4 CSL is a lighter, carbon-fiber-intensive version of the standard M4, shedding approximately 100 kg. Equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine, it is expected to offer even more power. Rumors suggest that the M4 CSL could set impressive lap times at the Nurburgring, possibly under 7 seconds.
Clearly, the M4 CSL is a performance beast. Going a step further, BMW will offer a special treat for its VIP clientele with the M4 GT/H. Hand-built and featuring a manual transmission, the Hommage model is expected to boast a tuned 3.0-liter engine producing around 599 hp. This lightweight powerhouse could accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 3.5 seconds (estimated). It is also reported that the M4 GT/H will forgo certain amenities like parking sensors and electric seats.
Only 50 units of the M4 GT/H are rumored to be produced by BMW.
