BMW has unveiled what they are calling the most exclusive special model in the M division’s history – the 3.0 CSL.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic Coupe Sport Lightweight (CSL) of 1970, the limited edition 3.0 CSL Hommage concept exudes a design reminiscent of its predecessor.
The 3.0 CSL boasts a redesigned front featuring a kidney grille and a bumper with round intake ducts on each side. The car is distinguished by wider fenders, extended door sills, and a striking rear end complemented with an integrated fixed spoiler.
Beneath the hood, the 3.0 CSL is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine tuned to deliver an impressive 553 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque, making it BMW’s most powerful inline-6 engine to date. The vehicle will come exclusively with a 6-speed manual gearbox that transmits power to the rear axle through an M differential. Braking performance is ensured by standard carbon ceramic brakes.
