India is a very fascinating nation and one the world cannot turn a blind eye on no matter how much they tried. It has some of the most unique people, a diversity of languages and ethnic groups and of course a large market for almost any product.
But the Indian market is not easy to please, especially with their ability to create some of the most basic essentials on their soil. An Indian supercar, however, isn’t a far-fetched idea. It was made a reality in 2018 when car designer Dilip Chhabria built a super he named DC Avanti.
This car is equipped with a good 2.0-liter four-cylinder provided by Renault Sport. It is this engine that moves the majestic Renault Megane RS. You can choose from either the 250bhp or 310bhp with the latter engine getting an automatic gearbox as well as paddles.
The exterior of the DC Avanti is an outstanding piece of artwork. Whatever angle you view it from, you can determine quite early that it is a supercar made with a difference and created to be a machine of its own abilities.
The DC Avanti is a gorgeous attempt into the supercar world. However, it still leaves a number of things to be desired including, perhaps increasing the speed limit above the current 124 mph.
This notwithstanding, the DC Avanti has managed to sell a couple of them and probably it is from this customer base that the automaker will learn what to work on.
