Automobili Lamborghini is commemorating its 60th anniversary by showcasing a unique piece of art called the Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’ at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023. This one-off creation is a customized version of the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High-Performance Electrified Vehicle), and was developed by the Centro Stile and Lamborghini’s Ad Personam team.
The Revuelto, which was launched earlier this year, is a hybrid plug-in that offers exceptional performance, sportiness, and driving pleasure. With 1,001 horsepower, the Revuelto is remarkably agile and effective on both the road and track, thanks to its innovative design, maximum-efficiency aerodynamics, and new carbon frame concept.
“As the company’s top market globally, it’s quite fittingLamborghini’s Chairman and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, expresses excitement to introduce the Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’ during Art Basel Miami Beach in the U.S. The Revuelto is acclaimed as the fastest, most technologically advanced, and customizable Lamborghini ever produced and has received a positive reception worldwide. Featuring the iconic V12, the ‘Opera Unica’ sets new standards in personalization, creating a true automotive masterpiece.
The Revuelto ‘Opera Unica’ showcases Lamborghini’s commitment to innovation in color application. The hand-painted exterior transitions from Viola Pasifae to Nero Helene, with intricate brushstroke details in warm and cool colors. This process involves 76 hours of development and testing and a total of 435 hours to complete. Additionally, a subtle 60th-anniversary logo is prominently displayed on the car’s bonnet. This is an image of the Lamborghini Revuelto Opera Unica, showcasing the unique and artistic interior and exterior design. The interior features a two-tone leather design in Nero Ade and Viola Acutus, complemented by embroidery with the 60th-anniversary logo in matching warm and cool colors. The start and stop cover is also highlighted with shaded brushstroke colors.
“We aimed to make something solely artistic using brushes and a blend of colors as if the Revuelto was a canvas. That’s what inspired us for this special livery,” said Mitja Borkert, Automobili Lamborghini’s Design Director. “With the dynamic hand-painted exterior, we emphasize the aerodynamics and speed of the car.”
