McLaren is once again breaking boundaries with its newest model, the Artura Spider. Instead of focusing on additions, the Artura Spider emphasizes refinement and perfection to deliver a driving experience that surpasses expectations.
The Artura Spider is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine paired with the “Axial Flux E-Motor” performance hybrid system. While the Artura coupe boasted 670hp, McLaren gave the Spider a power boost to an impressive 690hp. This extra horsepower allows the Artura Spider to reach 60 MPH 0.1 seconds quicker than the Coupe, achieving it in 3.0 seconds. It can hit 124 MPH in 8.4 seconds and reach 186 MPH in just 21.6 seconds, all the way to its top speed of 205 MPH (with the roof up).
One of the main attractions of owning a Spider variant of a supercar is the unlimited headroom it offers. The Artura Spider features a retractable hardtop, a signature element of any spider model, which can be deployed in just 11 seconds while driving at speeds of up to 31 mph.
