Every year, the most exquisite cars gather at the Concorso d’Eleganza by Lake Como, Italy. Among these top-tier vehicles, a Bugatti Type 57S Vanvooren Cabriolet stood out and clinched the title. Out of the four Bugatti cars showcased, this particular model not only won its class but was also crowned ‘Best of Show’.

In a previous event in 2013, a 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, owned by Ralph Lauren, claimed the coveted ‘Best of Show’ award. This vehicle is one of the two remaining original Atlantics out of the four ever built. One Atlantic is famously missing, while another underwent restoration after a severe accident. Bugatti has impressed both jurors and spectators in recent years with models like the Type 57S Sports Tourer from 1937 and the Type 59 Grand Prix from 1934.

Bugatti made waves three years ago when it unveiled the unique La Voiture Noire. This exceptional grand tourer pays tribute to Jean Bugatti’s legendary Type 57SC Atlantic and blends art deco style with modern aesthetics. In 2019, Bugatti claimed victory in the ‘Concept Cars and Prototypes’ category with La Voiture Noire.
