The BMW Alpina series of executive luxury vehicles is one of the rare but outstanding class of vehicles in this range. Whether you pick on a B4,a B6 or a B7,you will definitely to take home some of the most exclusive specs you can find in a luxury car.

For this edition, lets explore the B6 which has a couple of years under its bearings. It was introduced in 2014 for the 2015 model year and is made even more exclusive by the fact that the current-generation Alpina B6 is only available in the U.S. in the coupe-like four-door sedan body style.

Here, they named it the Gran Coupe. Originally launched with a 540-hp version of the 650i’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8, Alpina recently upgraded it to 600 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, putting it right in line with BMW’s own rear-drive M6. An eight-speed automatic transmission is the only gearbox available, and all-wheel drive comes standard.

The 2018 model, brings around tech loads such as Parking Assistance package, which adds a suite of cameras that show the exterior from a variety of angles. Alpina B6 is more of a sporty luxury cruiser rather than a full-fledged performance machine.

You probably would be interested to learn that Alpina is a stand-alone company affiliated to BMW mainly because of the upgrades they do on these cars. Primarily, these cars have BMW underpinnings but whatever Alpina does to them should continue being done.
