Bentley Plans To Cut An 100 Years Celebration Cake

It was back in the year 1919 when legendary W.O. Bentley founded the prestigious, luxurious brand. This makes the company a cool 100 years in 2019. Bravo!

To celebrate this milestone, Bentley has plans to mark it in style through a series of activities taking place across Europe and America. Some of these plans include appearances at car shows, Concours d’Elegance, race meetings, and a rally.

Besides these colorful celebrations, the company also plans to make vehicles rolling out its factory line in the entire year extraordinarily special. This will be done through a host of additions and inclusions such as the Centenary badging, distinctive seat embroidery, unique treadplates and other special details that will probably help these models gain collectors’ item status, right from the time they roll off the assembly lines.

Forming part of these celebrations are some of the first cars that Bentley ever made. They include EXP1, the EXP 2 and the EXP 3, which was better known as ‘The Cab’ and became the founder’s personal car. To show the full thread of the company’s history the EXP 2 will be joined on Bentley’s Rétromobile stand by the new Continental GT Convertible.

In a whole one century, so much has come and gone. In the eyes of a super brand like Bentley, however, it is a journey that makes it much younger than older through the adoption of new technologies that help in shaping the company’s future. Well Done Bentley!
