Lamborghini recently showcased the final version of the Huracan, known as the Huracan Tecnica, signaling the end of the line for the V10 supercar from Sant ‘Agata. Now, details have emerged about its counterpart – the Audi R8 V10.
In a similar fashion to Lamborghini, Audi is preparing to bid farewell to its flagship supercar with a special edition likely named the R8 V10 Performance RS Final edition.
This final edition will mark the end of the era of internal combustion engine-powered R8 models, paving the way for an all-electric successor. To make this last V10 version extraordinary, reports suggest the 5.2-liter engine will be tuned to deliver approximately 650 horsepower.
Aside from its powerful engine, the car is expected to receive enhancements to its external appearance. The R8 V10 Performance RS Final edition is rumored to include an updated aerodynamic package featuring numerous carbon fiber components.
According to insider sources, the Audi R8 V10 Performance RS Final edition is anticipated to be revealed in autumn 2022. As expected, Audi will manufacture a limited quantity of these Final edition R8 models before concluding production.
