The Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro turned heads during its first appearance at the Bahrain GP circuit earlier this year. Now, the initial customer vehicle has touched down on American soil.
As per @astonmartinregistery, the first Valkyrie AMR Pro in the US bears the chassis number 14. This particular car sports a Satin Ming Blue finish, meticulously crafted to mirror the racing liveries of ‘The Heart of Racing’ team. There are plans to showcase this AMR Pro on various racetracks as the team aims to set records on tracks worldwide.
The AMR Pro serves as the track-focused variation of the Valkyrie and is not authorized for street use. It boasts larger dimensions compared to the standard road car and showcases a revised aerodynamic profile. Notable features include an expansive rear spoiler and a more aggressive front splitter. Aston Martin declares that this package produces double the downforce of the regular Valkyrie.
Powering the AMR Pro is a formidable 1000 hp 6.5-liter V12 engine capable of revving up to an impressive 11,000 rpm. Differing from the hybrid setup of the road version, the AMR Pro relies on a traditional naturally aspirated V12 powerplant. Enthusiasts were treated to a sneak peek of the engine’s melodious note during the event in Bahrain.
