Aston Martin has unveiled a sneak peek of the upcoming successor to the DB11, likely to be named DB12.

The teaser image features a silhouette of the car hidden under the Union Jack flag. Although not much is revealed, spy shots of a prototype of the DB11 successor have emerged during cold weather testing in Sweden.

The spy shots indicate that the upcoming DB12 will be an evolutionary model of the Aston Martin DB11. Expected changes include a redesigned front end with reshaped LED headlights and a larger front grille, while the rear of the car remains similar to the previous model.

The upcoming DB11 successor is expected to come with various updates beneath its exterior. Though official details are yet to be confirmed by Aston Martin, the car may receive slightly tweaked engines. Currently, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine produces 528 horsepower and 513 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the DB11 offers a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine delivering 630 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.
