While the focus is currently on the Huracan Sterrato, the idea of an off-road-centric mid-engined supercar is not entirely new. A video showcasing a Gallardo rallycross demonstrates what a Lamborghini Gallardo Sterrato might have been like if it had ever been considered for production.
This “Gallardo Sterrato” has been actively participating in the European rallycross circuit for several years. It essentially features a raised Gallardo chassis fitted with rally-specific wheels and tires. The car is powered by a V10 engine similar to its on-road counterpart, although specific technical details remain somewhat ambiguous.
The upcoming Huracan Sterrato is expected to be equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine generating 640 hp and an all-wheel drive system.
