The second-generation Ford GT, drawing inspiration from the legendary GT40, was initially crafted for motorsport before being modified into a street-legal supercar. Its re-entry into competitive racing was highlighted by a double-podium achievement at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans, commemorating 50 years since the GT40’s remarkable victory.
Boasting a design that elegantly merges aerodynamics with visual appeal, the Ford GT debuted with a 647-horsepower, twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. By 2020, enhancements increased its output to 660 horsepower, alongside improved torque, upgraded pistons, and a titanium Akrapović exhaust system.
In tribute to Alan Mann Racing, an essential contributor to the GT40’s achievements in the 1960s, Ford introduced a limited run of 30 Alan Mann Heritage Edition GTs. These exclusive versions feature a striking red and gold paint scheme, complemented by carbon fiber components, 20-inch wheels, and Brembo brakes. The interior is adorned with carbon fiber and Ebony Alcantara, featuring red and gold stitching as a salute to the vehicle’s racing heritage. Unique touches include red paddle shifters and a personalized roundel specific to Alan Mann.
