On October 12, Broad Arrow Auctions will host the auction of a 2022 Ford GT Alan Mann Heritage Edition, with an estimated value between $1,200,000 and $1,500,000. This specific vehicle is one of only 30 produced in the Alan Mann Heritage Edition series, designed to pay homage to the lightweight experimental race cars of 1966 that were developed by Alan Mann Racing. The vehicle has recorded a mere 20 miles on the odometer.
The Alan Mann Heritage Edition is a tribute to the lightweight Ford GT prototypes from 1966, showcasing the legacy of Alan Mann Racing. Its distinctive red and gold color scheme was crucial in the development of the Ford GT.
This special edition maintains the classic color scheme, featuring an Alan Mann Red exterior complemented by gold and white details, and displays the number 16 on the doors, hood, and rear wing. Glossy carbon fiber components, including the 20-inch wheels and rear diffuser, along with black Brembo brake calipers that include red graphics, enhance the overall aesthetic. Inside, the Alan Mann Heritage Edition boasts a carbon fiber interior featuring seats wrapped in Ebony Alcantara, accented with gold and red stitching.
At the heart of the Ford GT lies a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine, generating an impressive 660 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque. This setup achieves a remarkable 183 horsepower per liter and is complemented by an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system. The vehicle is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission from Getrag, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds and reach a maximum speed of 216 mph.
This particular car was acquired by its sole owner in 2022 from Pat Millikan Ford in Redford, Michigan. It comes complete with a range of exclusive items, including production photographs, its original factory charger, and documentation covering its delivery and sale.
