Ferrari introduced the high-performance 488 Pista version at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2018. Named “Pista,” which means “track” in Italian, this latest model of Ferrari’s mid-engine V8 is faster than ever and celebrates the brand’s extraordinary racing legacy.

An almost-new 2020 Ferrari 488 Pista with low mileage is now up for grabs through Collecting Cars. This unique model comes in Argento Nürburgring with dual Nero and Giallo racing stripes. It boasts various carbon-fiber accents such as front flaps, air vents, side air splitters, rear diffuser, inner sill trim, under-door covers, and ‘Scuderia’ wing shields. The car rides on 20-inch 10-spoke carbon-fiber wheels, features Giallo brake calipers with carbon-ceramic brake discs, and is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

The interior is adorned with Nero Alcantara and Charcoal seat centers, complemented by matte carbon-fiber door card panels, trim strips, upper center console, and steering wheel trim. Giallo accent stripes, stitching, and seatbelts, along with embroidered Giallo ‘Cavallino’ logos on the seat headrests, inject a splash of color.

This model is stocked with factory-fitted amenities, including large carbon-fiber racing seats with lifter, Alcantara upper and lower dashboard trim, titanium exhaust pipes, a Giallo rev counter, suspension lifter, front and rear parking sensors, a radio with satellite navigation and Bluetooth, electrochromic mirrors inside and out, and the Adaptive Frontlight System.

The heart of the 488 Pista is a mid-mounted 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, capable of generating an impressive 710 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 568 lb-ft of torque at 3000 rpm, thanks to its twin-turbo configuration. This propels the car to exceptional performance levels, reaching 0-100 km/h in 2.85 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 7.6 seconds, and a top speed of 340 km/h.

The increase in power compared to the base 488 GTB model is achieved by utilizing components from the 488 Challenge race car, including Inconel exhaust manifolds, reinforced pistons, a larger intercooler, and a new camshaft.

The Ferrari 488 Pista is a remarkable high-performance supercar engineered for the track, featuring a powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine, quick-shifting transmission, and outstanding chassis. This specific model has only clocked 5,752 kilometers and is in impeccable condition. It would be a fantastic addition to any collection of performance cars and an exhilarating companion for spirited weekend drives and track sessions.
