Jeep is seemingly on a mission to have compact off-road SUVs for each class of its customers conceivable. The Jeep Compass, which underwent massive design changes in 2017 sits pretty between the friendly Jeep Renegade and monstrous Jeep Cherokee.
Whether you like it or not, whether Jeep further dissected its class or not, the Jeep Compass sits and plays an important role in its category. It fills a certain gap.
The 4X4 category is perhaps one that Jeep knows rather too well and has been onto for long enough to understand perfectly. Powertrains for the admirably smaller Compass includes a 1.6-liter or 2.0-liter diesel.
The diesel engine can come either as a 138bhp or 168bhp. Then there is 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol. Going a little north, you may choose the 2.0-liter diesel that is attached to an enormous nine-speed automatic gearbox. Four-wheel drive is standard on this one.

So far, it has proved to be an ultimately impressive car whose future we can count on.
