The final Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Roadster has rolled out of the Sant’Agata factory in Italy. This marks the end of production of the popular Aventador series, and with it, the non-hybrid naturally aspirated V12 engine goes out of production as well.

Back in 2011, Lamborghini introduced the Aventador. There have been 8 derivates of the supercar and over 10 one-off and limited editions since then. During this period, the brand sold 11,465 units of the Aventador. The final iteration, the Ultimae, was revealed last year.

Lamborghini produced 350 coupes and 250 roadsters of the Ultimae. They feature a spruced-up version of the 6.5-liter V12 producing 780 hp and 531 lb-ft. The last Ultimae Roadster to leave the factory is finished in a special light blue exterior designed for the Swiss market.

Interestingly, Lamborghini has sold more Aventadors than the sum of all its previous V12 models. Its predecessor, the Murcielago, had a relatively short production run of 5,000 units.
