The Charismatic Easy-Going Mini Cooper Convertible

There is just something magnetic about convertibles. Something you can’t quite hold onto or explain but keeps you looking hard at them, admiring them and wanting to be closer.

Their topless openness is so welcoming anytime that you can easily be tempted to slide over and ride one that is not yours before the law catches up with you. The base 2019 Cooper Convertible has employed a 134-hp turbocharged inline-three engine.

You can, however, opt for the Cooper S that delivers 18-hp from an inline-four 2.0-liter engine. Both are front-drive models that can be had with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.

When talking of convertibles, it is always good to mention how fast the top folds. The MINI Convertible does it in 18 seconds. MINI has added something interesting to its cloth top.

There is a sunroof panel above the front seats so the occupants can enjoy some sun ray without sliding down the entire rooftop. MINI’s infotainment system is crafted in the likeness of BMW’s iDrive.

It is arguably easy to use a system that can be beautified with color-changing LED lights just for fun. It incorporates Apple CarPlay but doesn’t support Android Auto.

The MINI COOPER CONVERTIBLE has done a great deal at attempting to maintain most things at the base. It is charismatic without being too sophisticated especially with a friendly choice of engines.
