Nissan Rogue Review: A Perfect Family Car With Bunch Of Features

What updates are we looking for 2019? There are loads of tech features that make the small SUV mouthwatering. First comes a new audio system with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Then there is a Rear Door Alert safety system. This sends you a warning alert if you’re about to leave something in the back seat after turning the car off.

Nissan’s ProPilot Assist, a driver-assist suite meant to keep the vehicle centered in its lane on the highway, has also been fitted into the redefined Rogue. From the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated I4 engine the Rogue will give you 141 horsepower and 147 pound-feet of torque, through a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Perhaps its the price that will keep the Rogue in the competitive orbit as we run into 2019. Through the base trims to the premium, it is competitively priced and likely to push its sale to a good level.

The Rogue Sport S front-wheel-drive will cost you a swift $22,240. Then there is the Rogue Sport SV trim, which starts at $24,040.

One of the additional niceties you will gain from this is the ProPilot Assist option if you don’t mind having it on it. Then the safety kit becomes standard and you also get automatic climate control, keyless access and 17-inch alloy wheels giving the Rogue Sport SV for a cool sportier look.

The Rogue is quite clearly a car made with family travel in mind and a budget that is not necessarily overstretched. Having been able to strike this balance, we expect to see it scaling upwards in sales going forward.
