Brabus is known for its level of luxury and transforming Mercedes models as we know it, including the first electric SUV offered with a Mercedes badge. Brabus previously modified the Mercedes AMG E63 and G-Class models but is turning their attention to their first-ever electric SUV, the Mercedes-Benz EQC.

The stock EQC model features two electric motors for a combined 560 lb-ft torque and 402 horsepower. The new model by Brabus offers the E-PowerXtra performance upgrade increases the output to 612 lb-ft of torque and 422 horsepower for a better sports performance that can go from 0 to 62 mph in 4.9 seconds. The top speed is limited to 112 mph with extra power available in Sport mode.

Activating the “E” drive mode with the Brabus PowerXtra Electric upgrade offers one-pedal driving that is often requested by EV drivers. The SUV decelerates at a more aggressive rate when the driver lifts off the accelerator pedal for less frequent use of the brakes while increasing the kinetic energy recovery rate from rolling.

Brabus doesn’t stop there, working on an aerodynamic body kit for the EQC model for an improved appearance though they’re only offering a rear spoiler component. They’re also offering a special 21-inch Monoblock Z “Platinum Edition” hi-tech forging wheels.

The interior can also be customized with aluminum door-lock pins and pedals, including scuff plates with the backlit Brabus logo that can change in color. Brabus is working on more custom features and the base EQC model starts at $75,000.
