During the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon, Liberty Walk revealed its newest project: a widebody Ferrari F40. If you’re a die-hard Ferrari enthusiast, this may not be for you.
Liberty Walk, a renowned Japanese customization shop, has crafted a widebody version of the Ferrari F40 that looks like it came straight out of a video game like Need For Speed.
When initial teaser images were posted on social media, opinions were divided. However, upon seeing the final result, it appears that Liberty Walk has executed the design quite well. The widebody kit enhances the car’s appearance without going overboard, giving it a slightly wider and more aggressive look. The car is painted in the colors of the Japanese flag.
It’s worth noting that the engine remains unchanged. The original 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivers 471 horsepower and 426 lb-ft of torque. This power allows the lightweight F40 to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds, with a top speed of 201 mph.
