As the first supercar mass-produced by Jaguar, the XJ220 represented a significant leap for the British automaker. To find a vehicle as impressive in Jaguar’s history, one would have to look back to the XK120. Over the forty years separating these two models, there were several LeMans-winning race cars and innovative design concepts, but none matched the XJ220 in terms of performance and production readiness.
