Porsche 911 GT3 RS Top Speed Performance
The YouTube channel Sport Auto has released a video showcasing a top speed run of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The onboard footage captures the exhilarating acceleration of the car and the seamless gear shifts. And of course, don’t miss the captivating sounds produced by the engine during the run.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is equipped with a powerful 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine, one of the most potent versions found in any 911 model. This engine generates 518 HP at 8,500 rpm, with the ability to rev up to an impressive 9,000 rpm.
While the 911 GT3 RS is not designed for achieving top speeds, witnessing its acceleration on the track-focused vehicle is truly astounding.
The official top speed of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is 184 mph; however, in the video, the car reached 190 mph. This slight variance could be attributed to speedometer calibration, but it remains an impressive feat.
Porsche 911 Turbo S: The Swifter Alternative
For those craving even greater speed than the GT3 RS, the Turbo S model offers a top speed of 205 mph. Additionally, the upcoming 911 GT2 RS promises to be even faster, though it may feature a hybrid powertrain and is anticipated to be released in a few years.
