In 2022, Bugatti achieved a significant milestone by delivering the highest number of its luxury sports cars ever in a single year. A total of 80 new Bugatti hyper sports cars were sold globally, marking a new high for the renowned French brand. These exceptional vehicles exemplify Bugatti’s commitment to producing top-tier performance, engineering, and design in the automotive world.
Among the notable achievements of Bugatti in 2022 was the production of the 400th Chiron model, with only 100 units remaining to complete the full Chiron production series. The year also saw the completion of the final nine Chiron Super Sport 300+ models, all ten Centodieci editions, and the last Chiron and Chiron Sports vehicles for the European market. A special configuration paying tribute to Ettore Bugatti’s eldest daughter, L’Ébé, was featured in these models. The Molsheim Atelier has surpassed its previous production records, assembling more Bugatti hyper sports cars and various models than ever before since its inception 17 years ago.
Looking forward to 2023, Bugatt will auction the unique Bugatti Chiron Profilée in Paris, France, on 1 February. This exceptional vehicle, recognized as an automotive masterpiece, boasts a distinctive character, design, and intricate details. Production and delivery of Chiron models will continue, and the configuration process for the W16 Mistral and Bolide models will commence soon. Bugatti also plans to celebrate its rich motorsport legacy and connection to the 24 Hours of Le Mans as the iconic race event marks its centenary year.
