Jeep loves to explore new ideas and push boundaries. It’s no surprise then that they have brought some truly remarkable creations to our roads.
The Quicksand concept started as a two-door Wrangler but quickly evolved into something that turns heads effortlessly.
With a longer wheelbase, raised suspension, and a powerful V-8 392 cubic-inch Hemi engine, the Quicksand boasts some impressive features. Jeep assures us that despite its sleek design, the Quicksand retains all the capabilities expected of a Jeep.
Each corner is equipped with a coil-over damper and vintage-style 18-inch mag wheels. The front wheels are wrapped in large 32-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 mud tires while the rear tires are the same brand but in a 37-inch size.
Inside, the cabin has been redesigned to reflect a 1955 aesthetic. The traditional gauge cluster has been replaced with classic units, and even the radio has been swapped for a central speedometer.
The HVAC controls have been replaced by toggles for different functions. The shifter adds to the theme with a miniature Jeep encased in clear plastic.
The low-back red leather bucket seats feature white stitching and a quilted design. The vehicle only accommodates two people, as the rear space houses the fuel cell and battery.
A chrome roll bar provides some protection, and the roof is left open with chrome bars for safety. This unique Jeep concept was created for the 2017 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, a popular annual event for Jeep enthusiasts to enjoy desert trails.
We can only dream of seeing it in full production.
