The Acura MDX is a luxurious SUV that boasts ample seating for up to seven across its three rows. Available in both regular and Sport Hybrid variants, it offers options to suit different preferences.
The standard MDX model is equipped with a 290-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, the MDX Sport Hybrid packs a combined 321 hp thanks to its 3.0-liter V-6 engine, electric motors, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Buyers can opt for either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive with the MDX. Competing against models such as the Buick Enclave and Infiniti QX60, the MDX aims to stand out in the crowd.
The latest technology features set the MDX apart, with standard four-way power-adjustable lumbar support introduced for the front seats in 2019. Additionally, the available all-wheel-drive system enhances handling with its torque-vectoring capability.
Safety is paramount in the MDX, as it comes loaded with standard active safety features like forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
For added convenience, the MDX Advance offers five USB ports, including three located beneath the front armrest console and two positioned behind it for rear passengers. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features, although the display is shown on the upper screen.
Enhancing the user experience further is the responsive voice control system that effectively interprets speech commands and provides clear navigation instructions.
