The Nissan 350Z Is Becoming A Precious Collectible

One review summed up the Nissan 350z as the “an old-school muscle car for grown-ups.” Well, this is truly a car for folks who can handle good stuff. Carrying a 3.5-liter V6 engine, the Nissan 350Z drives the rear wheels and pairs to a six-speed manual gearbox. It will take you 5.9 secs to sprint from zero to 60mph.

Production for the 350Z run between 2002-2009. In the first year, it came only as a coupe and then the roadster version followed. Initially, the coupe as offered in trims dubbed the Base, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring, and Track. The roadster was limited to Enthusiast and Touring trim levels.

Interior comforts on the 350Z include awesome seats that are supportive and well-shaped. They offer great lateral support as well with shoulder-level bolsters and grippy ersatz carbon-fiber upholstery. This is done without making the interior curiously lavish.

You will however quickly take not of the cast aluminum door handles, and the metallic trim on the steering wheel, instrument surrounds, shifter, various switches, and door-mounted ventilation registers. The Nissan 350Z was made with a very specific target market in mind. Over the years through having ceased production, this car is quickly becoming a classic collector machine. Not so many still rock the roads and chances are that you will pay quite a high price if you land on one to buy.
